Happenings in the Last Chapter
The Last Chapter
I call this the last chapter in reference to the last chapter of mine, ours, yours or whoever is in the last chapter of their life. I am living it day to day working with fiber. Yes, fiber. The kind on animals, not the kind you eat. I have learned different kinds of fiber from wool to bamboo can be spun and crocheted or knitted into something beautiful.
I guess I started this journey after Drew was killed. Sort of a way to stay busy, like I don't have enough to do anyway. But, the housework can wait, as a lot of things since all the kids are grown and gone.
I think we all should stay busy doing something or you will vegetate, so will your minds. What commercial is it that says, "a body in motion will stay in motion" and on ...... I do believe that is true. Use your mind, all of it, or it will not stay in motion.
To many people I see just do nothing all day, every day and that is how the rest of their lives will grow, in to stagnation. Staying the same, never looking forward to tomorrow. So I guess that is why I am writing blogs so as to stay busy. I think I might even go back to school. Not that I will ever do anything with it, but learning is always good.
Hopefully, this is going to be the next chapter in my life is spinning, dyeing and making things with fiber and making natural products with essential oils.
In which speaking of oils, I am talking about EOs, Essential Oils. Something I have dabbled with since I was a teenager, growing up on a farm, we grew everything, and I mean everything. I guess it was dad who loved his basil, and rosemary, and thyme all of the herbs you could think of. They were great for cooking, spicing up food recipes and such.
Now in this century we have all of that in compressed oils, and research have found many benefits to these oils for overall health.
A friend of mine in introduced me to an amazing company. DoTerra, they have the purest form of oils in the business. I have been working with this company for the last four months, and love it. I love to make my own lotions, ointments and stuff anyway, and it has been a great experience. Since I have been into these oils, my skin is softer in the winter that ever, my hair is more manageable and my overall health has been better, other than the heart disease I have, and nothing can be done about that, except a heart transplant.
Anyway, I can't say enough about this company. My upline makes $1500.00 a month. Not many companies give you that kind of power, but this product sort of sells itself, it is the educating of people that is important. If you would like to learn more about these wonderful oils, that help you immune system to cleaning your home with all natural mixtures you can make yourself. Check my website at http://www.my Doterra.com/terryannmcfarlin. Read about the benefits of these oils. This is my collection which has grown since I took this picture, and it is like gold to me. If the Zombie Apocalypse happens, I would grab my oils first thing.
Well, I am off to spin some fiber.
